Experience The Craft of the Blacksmith - Weekend Course
A Discover a passion for iron!
Enjoy the craft of the blacksmith in this two-day experience where you will work along side internationally revered master blacksmith Nigel Barnett. You will be able to watch the forging of iron under the large power hammers and take part in the creation of metalwork for you to take home.
Accommodation will be provided in a reproduction 1910 engine driver's hut set in the woodland sculpture trail next to the forge.
Forging takes place 8am - 5pm Friday and Saturday. Guest are welcome to stay until Sunday morning.
Cooking facilities are provided with a BBQ area. There is a local farm shop and village pub close by.
